I definitely recommend this book if you love werewolves. It is a great book even if a bit of it happens way too fast.
Grace is an underappreciated girl whose only friends are the wolves who visit her backyard during the winter. Sure she has friends at school but she feels like an outsider in her own world. Her parents rarely notice her and are usually gone the whole day. She's alone except for the brown wolf with gold eyes that she looks for every winter.
Sam is a boy that lives a secret life with others like him. In the summer he is human but during the winter it is too cold to stay in human shape. He has dreamed of meeting Grace ever since she was attacked by his pack when she was little. She didn't scream she just watched him and so he watches her every winter. He sees her sitting in the yard looking for something and he wishes she was looking for him.
One day a boy is murdered by his pack for reasons unknown and everyone is out to kill the pack. Grace tries to stop the hunt and succeeds only to find Sam on her porch. Together they fight to keep him human as secrets are uncovered. As they look for a cure they fall in love. Time begins to run out and Grace has to fight to keep him.
It is a really great book but I don't recommend anyone to read the second and third book. They are absolutely terrible and have no purpose! All they do is drag out the series in a unnecessary way. The author should have ended the series on the first book! Whatever you do only read the first book! If you read the rest you will just end up hating it just like I did.
DON'T READ LINGER AND FOREVER!!!!!!!!
