I must warn you that this book review is like my review on Insurgent. This book is frustrating and pointless to the series!
1) Adam has an ability.
2) Adam can't touch Juliette anymore because it might kill him!
3) Warner grows a heart.
4) Warner has an ability too.
5) Juliette begins to gravitate towards Warner now!
What was the writer on when she wrote this!?!?! I mean Juliette is supposed to be with Adam NOT Warner! So she might kill him! Who cares!? He's learning to manipulate his ability and might be able to touch her if she would just wait! But NOOOOOOO she has to almost hookup with Warner! What's wrong with her!? Adam protected her! Warner tries to push her to do things she doesn't want to! Adam is her soul mate (if you believe in that kind of thing) and his HALF-BROTHER! (oops!)
Then to top that Warner's homicidal nutcase of a dad shows up and tries to kill Juliette! Though at this point I wouldn't really care if she died!
As she gets stronger Adam gets better and she and Warner grow attached. Something went terribly wrong in this book and no one should be put through reading that! I was screaming into my pillows only a few chapters into the book! DON'T READ THIS BOOK! Stop at the first book! I've hopefully talked you out of this book because it really is terrible! I'm still going to read the third book just to see how it ends though.
I was also pretty pissed off when Juliette and Warner got together, but I feel like Juliette was turning darker and darker throughout the entire book.
