So very confused by this book at the beginning since I didn't know about the main character's past. It was really weird and I hated...oh I'll tell you later so read on. I liked it though despite everything in the book which for me is strange. That is probably why I liked it. I like being confused sometimes.
Amy has been on the run for about six years. Amy isn't really her name either. She moves around from place to place with the help of her handler whom she's never met. Someone is trying to track her down and maybe even want to kill her and she can't let that happen. After a note she leaves NY to go to Denver where she'll start a new identity yet again. This time as Amy Bensen.
She meets Liam Stone on the plane ride over and there is an immediate connection. Which leads to them having sex in her apartment after only 4-5 hours of knowing each other! How....unladylike is that??? (nicest word I could come up with) So soooooo wrong! So despite everything she's been through she trusts this man (who's also a billionaire) and begins to live with him in a hotel's penthouse suite!
She (when he leaves for a while after he doesn't use a condom...Ahhhh!) begins to look things up in order to find out about her past. The thing is that the fire she knows happened seems to have never existed. Liam comes back and has to take her to a hospital since she fell and sliced her head open in the bathroom (she has flashbacks that knock her out). He seems like the perfect guy and she even begins to fall for him hard until she hears something. Something she's not supposed to hear.
What did he say that would make her panic? Will she go on the run without her handler's help? Why is Liam so interested in her past? Who is Liam Stone and what does he have to do with everything she's going though?
Sadly some of those questions won't get answered till the second book comes out which unfortunately I can't seem to find when it comes out. It was a great book despite of how strange it really was. I really can't wait for the second book!
