Her Mad Hatter Review

Title: Her Mad Hatter

Author: Marie Hall

Book: (Kingdom, #1)

Pages: 129

Rating: 4.5/5

I loved this book despite the sex scenes...but whatever. As you can tell by the cover there is the Mad Hatter, Alice, and romance in Wonderland.
Alice has a life, she runs a cupcake with a Wonderland theme. She has been obsessed with Wonderland since she was a child. The Mad Hatter in particular. So when a fairy godmother shows up she has a hard time believing that what she's seeing is real.
The Hatter has tried to find his mate so many times that he's given up hope to ever find his Alice. When his godmother chooses this Alice he is angrier than ever because she is the granddaughter of the Alice he had fallen in love with. The Alice that betrayed his heart and everyone else.
With only three days left to save him from going insane Alice does her best to prove to Hatter that she really does care for him. After all he did save her life when she was younger. He just doesn't remember her...yet.
He falls hard for her but he know it cannot last. Every Alice has left him, so why should she be any different? When they sleep together the Hatter knows that she is the only one for him, but will Wonderland accept her? When it doesn't Alice flees heartbroken and alone only to discover she's been gone three months and that her brain cancer is back again. This time, though, the doctors can't save her.
The Hatter cannot leave Wonderland and knows that it was him that kept Wonderland from accepting her. His love for her was all it took.
Was all that the fairy godmother went through to save the Hatter from madness in vain? Does Alice truly love the Hatter? What will happen to him if she dies? What will happen to Wonderland?
I truly loved this book and finished it quickly. Oh yeah! I got a Kindle for Christmas and I managed to get this book for free...along with quite a few other books. Whenever I do a review on a book that is free, trust me, I'll tell you. Hope you enjoy the book!

About The Author

Marie Hall is a USA Today Bestselling author and has always held a dangerous fascination for creatures that go bump in the night. And mermaids. And of course fairies. Trolls. Unicorns. Shapeshifters. Vampires. Scottish brogues. Kilts. Beefy arms. Ummm... Bad boys! Especially the sexy ones.
Then the day came she realized apart from the sexy bad boy she married, there'd be no vampires/shapeshifters/mermaids/fairies/or even stinky trolls in her future unless she wrote about them. More often than not she can be found roaming the wild, lush tropical forest she calls her backyard (a.k.a. Hawaii) and day dreaming constantly about her latest project.

On top of that she's a confirmed foodie, she nearly went to culinary school and then figured out she could save a ton of money if she just watched food shows religiously! She's a self-proclaimed master chef, certified deep sea dolphin trainer, finder of leprechaun's gold at the end of the rainbow, and rumor has it she keeps the Troll King locked away in her basement. All of which is untrue, however, she does have an incredibly active imagination and loves to share her crazy thoughts with the world!
Her Mad Hatter is the first book of her Kingdom Series.
She loves to hear from her readers and can be reached at mariehallwrites@gmail.com
