Wrecked Review

Title: Wrecked

Author: Anna Davies

Pages: 323

Rating: 2/5

You know how you pick up a teen romance book you expect it to have a happy ending? Well this book ruins that belief! No book is supposed to end that way unless it has a sequel! But NOOOOOOOO she has no intention of writing another book! Someone even compares it to "a  contemporary retelling of  'The Little Mermaid.'" It's NOTHING like that! It is so SO bad!
Miranda is a normal girl except for the fact that she lives with her grandmother since her parents died. That's not the worst part! Her life gets turned upside down when she and her friends go out on her boat one night. Only a few survived the crash but Miranda is the only one to make it to shore. No one knows how. Not even Miranda.
Christian was going to the surface like was expected for someone his age. Everyone wants to see what the surface looks like just once. That's where he sees Miranda and her friend fighting for their lives after their boat wrecks. He can't save them all so he saves the girl whose face he can't get out of his mind.
The sea witch caused the storm that wrecked Miranda's boat. She wants her life and will even send Christian to get it for her. She comes to land herself to make sure the job gets done but finds instead something she didn't expect. She sets a trap for both of them and waits for the right time. Neither of them are allowed to live now.
Blah blah blah! You know how it's going to end? Guessed wrong! Miranda and Christian can NEVER be together since he can't breathe on land anymore. He needed the sea witch to be able to do so.
They don't end up together! What a terrible ending! I myself got this book because it looked good but halfway through the book I was bored and the end had me banging my head against the wall. I guess I ruined the book for all of you that wanted to read it! I'm not upset with myself! Now you won't have to read this terribly awful book!

  1. I though the cover of the book was fantastic, I guess it's only the cover that encourages people to read this book XD

  2. I hate the statement "don't judge a book by it's cover" but I find that sometimes you can. This is one of the exceptions. Great cover. Horrible book.
